International Camping Congress — Save the Date! October 4-8, 2023

ICF is proud to announce the launch of the XII International Camping Congress in October 4-8, 2023.

The Congress takes place in the beautiful and historic city of Tarragona, Catalunya just one hour south of Barcelona along the eastern coast of Spain. In addition to the tradition of excellent educational offerings and networking opportunities of the International Camping Congress, ICC 2023 presents the best in hospitality, food and tourism. 

The theme “Fem Pinya — Come Together to Rise Higher” reflects the UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage of human towers. It also points to a bright future for professional camps around the world.

The Congress website is being updated and soon the registration fees will be announced. Don’t miss the early bird!

Dear ICF Family,

It is such a pleasure to hear news from all over the world that in allmost all countries, camps are opening.

Even though in many countries there was a shorter time than previous years for marketing and registrations, it will definately be a better year than 2021. The Camp community has survived in the last 2 years and this short time is something we can get over by working hard.

International Camp Directors Course: 30 September – 4 October 2023 in Tarragona, Spain

The International Camp Directors Course (ICDC) has been developed as a professional development course for camp managers, directors and operators and other experienced camp staff professionals in administrative roles.

All courses are approved and administered by the International Camping Fellowship (ICF) using both local and international ICDC certified trainers.

The International Camp Directors Courses will be held prior to ICC 2023 in 2 languages: Spanish and English.

A train-the-trainer course will be offered as well from September 29 to October 4. More info here!

Positive Start Camps and Experiences

The Victorian Government is acting to re-engage primary and secondary students and to boost their physical and emotional health and wellbeing in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Students who attend a government or low-fee non-government school will get more opportunities to attend camps, swimming programs, sports programs and cultural experiences in 2022.

With the free Positive Start in 2022 program, Victorian students can be more active, reconnect with friends and find inspiration in new and exciting places.
